Not enough data
Too many ingredients are not matched to our nutrition table to give a fair estimate.
How we estimate: we add up the ingredients using the Kenya Food Composition Tables (2018) and USDA FoodData Central, then divide by the servings. It’s an estimate, not a measurement, and not medical advice.
Method preview
8 steps · 0 min- 1Scrub the potatoes clean and place in a small saucepan with water and 1 tablespoon of salt. Bring to a boil and simmer the potatoes for about 10 minutes. Turn off the heat and let the potatoes stand in the water for 5 minutes. Drain the potatoes and allow to cool slightly. Remember that potatoes come in various sizes, so the cooking time may vary – if they do not easily glide off of a fork when speared and lifted out of the water, they are not done yet.
- 2Fry bacon slices and transfer to a dish lined with paper towels.
- 3Peel the red onion and slice in thin rings.
