Not enough data
Too many ingredients are not matched to our nutrition table to give a fair estimate.
How we estimate: we add up the ingredients using the Kenya Food Composition Tables (2018) and USDA FoodData Central, then divide by the servings. It’s an estimate, not a measurement, and not medical advice.
Method preview
4 steps · 0 min- 1Preheat the oven to 160˚C (320˚F) Line a cake pan with parchment paper and set aside.
- 2Mix all the dry ingredients together in a large bowl. Place the milk in a small saucepan and heat it until it is almost boiling but not quite.
- 3Pour the milk slowly into the dry ingredients while whisking. Don't overmix! As soon as it is combined to a smooth batter you pour it into the cake pan. Sprinkle the pearl sugar over the top and bake it in the oven for about 1 hour.
