Not enough data
Too many ingredients are not matched to our nutrition table to give a fair estimate.
How we estimate: we add up the ingredients using the Kenya Food Composition Tables (2018) and USDA FoodData Central, then divide by the servings. It’s an estimate, not a measurement, and not medical advice.
Method preview
4 steps · 0 min- 1First, cook your vegetables. Bring a large pot of salted water to boil. Par-cook carrots and potatoes for five minutes until carrots and potatoes are fork tender, then blanch the peas and beans for about a minute in the same pot. Strain vegetables and set aside.
- 2In a heavy-bottomed pot or Dutch oven, melt butter over medium heat, add vegetables, and cook to warm through.
- 3Add milk and cream and bring the soup to a boil. Turn the heat down to low and season with salt and pepper.
