2. Definitions

• “User,” “You,” or “Your”: Refers to any individual or entity using our Services.
• “Content”: Includes text, images, videos, and other materials made available on or through the Services.
• “Chef”: Professional chefs or home cooks offering services through the PikaBox platform.
• “Order”: Refers to purchases of meal kits, groceries, or chef services via the App.

3. Eligibility

• Age Requirement: Users must be at least 18 years old. If you are under 18, you may only use the Services under supervision and with parental consent.
• Local Compliance: Users are responsible for ensuring their use of the Services complies with all applicable laws in their jurisdiction.
• Global Access: As PikaBox expands globally, Users in different regions must adhere to local regulations.

4. Account Registration

• Registration Requirements: To access full features, you must create an account using valid information, including a verified email address and phone number.
• Multiple Accounts: Users may not create multiple accounts to exploit offers or bypass restrictions.
• Account Security: Keep your credentials secure. Notify Us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

1. Meal Kits: Pre-portioned ingredients and recipes for easy, delicious meals.
2. Grocery Delivery: Fresh produce, pantry essentials, and more delivered to your door.
3. Chef on Demand: Book professional chefs for private or corporate events.
4. Home-Cooked Meals: Order authentic, homemade dishes from talented cooks in your area.
5. Social Features: Share cooking stories, meal photos, and recipe ideas with the PikaBox community.

6. Payments and Pricing

• Pricing Structure: Prices are displayed in Kenyan Shillings (KES) and may vary by region as we expand globally. Users outside Kenya may see prices converted to their local currency.
• Payment Methods: Acceptable methods include M-Pesa, credit/debit cards, and other global payment systems.
• Cancellation Policy:
  • Meal Kits & Groceries: Orders can be canceled within 30 minutes of placement.
  • Chef Services: Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance to avoid charges.

7. Orders and Deliveries

• Delivery Coverage: Currently available in major Kenyan cities with plans to expand globally.
• Delivery Times: Estimated delivery times depend on location and product availability.
• User Responsibility: Provide accurate delivery details. PikaBox is not liable for issues caused by incorrect addresses.

8. Chef and Home-Cooked Meal Services

• Independent Contractors: Chefs and home cooks are independent service providers. PikaBox only facilitates the connection.
• User Responsibilities:
  • Clearly communicate requirements when booking chefs.
  • Ensure the workspace is safe and hygienic for chef services.
• Global Standards: As PikaBox grows, chefs in different countries must adhere to local food safety regulations.

9. User-Generated Content

• What You Can Share: Reviews, photos, or other content related to your experience on PikaBox.
• Ownership: Users retain ownership of submitted content but grant PikaBox a royalty-free, perpetual license to use and share it.
• Content Guidelines: Prohibited content includes:
  • Offensive or discriminatory material.
  • Misleading or fraudulent claims.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

• Local Privacy Compliance: In Kenya, PikaBox complies with the Data Protection Act, 2019. Globally, we adhere to GDPR and other regional data protection laws.
